From 2008 to 2023, he was Senior Consultant at the firm Xtrategies in Miami, where he led 47 projects for 36 card issuers, acquirers, neobanks, and processors in 9 regional markets. At Xtrategies, he worked on payments strategy, product development, digital banking initiatives, sourcing and implementation of processing solutions, loyalty program development and implementation, operations, fraud prevention, collection management, and organizational redesign. Before that, he was an engagement manager at the consulting firm Arthur D. Little in its Caracas office and a strategy and finance practice member
